Though this called GEM Loves "Teachers" this is program is for ANYONE in the field of education. This includes
*counselors
*secretaries
*volunteers
*support staff
*etc
For the last 5 years I have been a substitute teacher in the New Britain public school system. I have also been a pre-school teacher, a before and after school worker, camp counselor, and teen mentor. I have seen, and experienced, first hand how hard educators work. That is why I created this program.

As someone who has worked in the field of education for twenty years I understand. I have lived on a teacher budget. I have worked with tough kids. I have felt under appreciated, that is why I started this whole thing.
